Kara Zacconi, a former professional dancer, grew up in Orlando FL, where she trained at the Orlando Ballet under the late Fernando Bujones. After completing her education at OBT, she pursued a degree in Dance Performance at Florida State University, studying under Dan Wagner, Jawole Zollar, and Gerrilihan, ultimately graduating on the Dean's List with a BFA in Dance Performance in December 2008. Kara then took a one-way ticket to NYC and has never looked back.

In New York City, she trained on scholarship at the Martha Graham School, as well as at Broadway Dance Center, Perridance, and STEPS. Kara has teaching experience as the Dance Specialist PS112's Rising Stars program through Union  Settlement and the LEAP Program. She has toured domestically and internationally with Catapult Entertainment to Italy and Kuwait, performed as a backup dancer for Lil' Kim and Mila Jam, and has appeared in national print ads for brands like HSBC, Clear Blue, Bud Light, Facebook, MoneyLion and Metro oil. Additionally, she has modeling experience with Panasonic and Calumet/Leaf,and worked as a promotional model for over 15 years, Kara became a Mom in the fall of 2020 to Leo, and currently resides in Brewster, NY. Currently, Kara works as a free lance consultant in the CPG industry and has clients ranging from pharmaceutical to comedians.
